Hello,My name is Michelle Seamons.Each one of us is walking around with a story inside of us.It is our own unique life experiences that shape us and mold us into unique individuals,that we are today.What is your story?I will share some of my 'Life Story' with you, in hopes that you will then share with me.Deal? ok!Ok, here goes ...Oh, would you like the 'long version' or the short one?!Hey, trust me you probably want the short one! I was born and raised in Beautiful Northern Utah, where I currently live.Love to create Art, Photography, Write, Dance, Listen to music. Improve my health daily. I enjoy taking mini road trips!I have been greatly blessed with 4 totally Beautiful, Awesome, children.I am a 'Single Mother', and know first hand the enormous challenges and concerns that all other Single Mothers out there are facing!My heart of empathy goes out to you all. And to all Single Dads as well.
Although life as a 'Single Mother' has it's challenges, it is so full of amazing great rewards!Becoming a mother at age '21' and raising my children has truly been the most satisfying, adventuresome, never dull, experience in my life! Everyday is another page in the book...they learn from me, and I learn from them.It is 'relationship building' in the truest, natural, rawest form.We learn also alot about ourselves as the parent, for sure as we tend to our parent duties and living daily adventures with our children.
I have been self employed alot more of my life, than I have had a job, working for an hourly wage, trading TIME for dollars.I believe I was born with the 'entrepreneurial spirit' pulsing through my veins.My younger brother and I were the 'kool-aid' stand next to the road construction site, on a hot, dry, Utah Summer day serving up sweaty thirsty men. A few years later, my brother and I shared a paper route together. Early Sunday mornings & Extremely Cold winter days when I lost all feeling in my hands...were not the funnest part of the job.From there it was moving sprinkler pipe for a local farmer, coming home covered in MUD from head to toe.From there it was going door to door to sell Olympic 'all occasion' cards, to earn cool prizes. Then there was selling Avon, as a teenager...you get the picture?
ok.I had jobs, but I found alot more pleasure in selling and coming up with creative ways to share with people. I have always enjoyed meeting nice people and serving them. About 14 years ago, my husband and I owned and operated a retail survival/ first aid business. After 6 years of owning and operating this business, both from home, and also from a downtown retail location, I walked away from this business with amazing experience and appreciation for other retail business owners!
From this experience, I learned so very much.I look at business owners from an 'earned' perspective now.And I have so much respect and admiration for people who have such courage, and great ambition to open up a business. I enjoy shopping, and supporting these businesses, and leaving the store whenever I want to...because I can, as the customer. It was eleven years ago, that I became open minded about getting involved with the 'Network Marketing Industry'. I am truly thankful for all of the experiences that I had, to bring me to this place.
I truly love the 'Network Marketing Industry' and the HOPE and 'endless possibilites' that it can bring and create into someones life! Have you ever truly seen a picture in your mind, or an actual picture of something that you wanted and you knew you would get there and have it someday? Have you been disappointed that after great time & effort you still were not where you thought you were going, or did not have what you thought you so much wanted?! Yes. Life serves us up challenges and disappointments. right?But, it is through these challenges that we always get to choose our response! We can choose to make DELICIOUS LEMONADE whenever we want to!
It is through tough times that we really find out what we are made of! So during my 11 years in the Greatest Industry on earth, I have had some great successes, and have made some of the dearest deep friendships that have changed me. I have been taught by some really great mentors in this industry, to which I am truly grateful. I have traveled ALOT and have had some really neat experiences.
I have gone through a handful of MLM companies, had some misfortunes where the companies went out of business. Most importantly, I never quit. I refuse to give up on my dream!
I believe so strongly that I am so in the right industry and that it is the Vehicle to my DREAMS! And the very BEST IS COMING!!! My Dream of LIVING LIFE, being an active participant in my life... Reaching out to many...Realizing Financal Freedom in my life and helping others do the same. Wow, doing WHAT you want to, WITH who you want to, WHEN you want to, any day of the week would be the American Dream for sure!Most importantly spending quality time with the people that you love so much. Working with only other like minded FUN, Positive, Enthusiastic, Self Driven people who believe in their dreams. Working as a team to make a synergistic difference in our lives, and the lives that we touch.
So the DREAM continues...This year of 2009 has brought with it the Greatest Challenges for me in the last 7 years! Challenges leave their mark on us, and can be very transforming.This will be a year for my history book for sure.I continue to be absolutely blessed for sure. God always watches out for me and my children, and my dear family members and friends. Great mentors continue to come into my life. I am a student forever, loving to learn.I thirst for learning something new each day. Striving to build stronger and closer relationships with those in my life daily.
